Funding Opportunities:
undefined

SERDP is soliciting proposals for Fiscal Year (FY) 2011 funding. Proposals must respond to one of the FY 2011 Statements of Need (SON) for either the Core or SEED solicitation. Both government and private sector organizations may compete for SERDP funds.

CORE SOLICITATION
Core Solicitation projects vary in cost and duration, consistent with the scope of the work proposed. Federal organizations respond to the Federal Call for Proposals and private sector organizations to the Broad Agency Announcement.

SEED SOLICITATION
The SEED Solicitation is designed to provide a limited amount of funding, not to exceed $150,000 in total cost and approximately one year in duration, for researchers to test proof of concept for work that will investigate new environmental approaches that entail high technical risk and/or have minimal supporting data. Successful SEED projects may lead to more extensive follow‑on efforts. Federal organizations respond to the Federal Call for Proposals and private sector organizations to the Broad Agency Announcement.

Webinar: Through the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Technology Innovation Program, SERDP’s Executive Director Dr. Jeffrey Marqusee conducted an online seminar "SERDP Funding Opportunities" on November 13, 2009. This “how to play” briefing offered valuable information for those interested in new funding opportunities available through SERDP in Fiscal Year (FY) 2011. During the online seminar, participants were able to ask general questions about the funding process, proposal submission, and the current solicitation.
